haiz... been busy busy busy almost all of e past few days...
thurs 22/4
it was my 1st day at work at pasta cafe as a waiter (dun u dare laugh) and it wasn't too bad... 6pm-10pm... e colleagues were all gals cos from wat i heard, they dont usually employ males as waiters... hmmm...
fri 23/4
i had to go for a medical checkup for poly stuff... so after lunch with my mum, we walked to e polyclinic thinking they do med checks but, wad do u noe, they dont... so we walked to e mrt station to woodlands where i rmb-ed frm e booklet tat they did e checks... reaching there i met some ex-colleagues like zhi cong and poh huat, and even ed came too later...e med check wasn't much, a chest x-ray tat lasted for a sec, but e as for e ht and wt, e person recording must have been deaf or realli mischevious... she minus-ed 10 from my ht and wt!! kaoz... no wonder y i felt weird when i saw e figures... how could i weigh 51kg and measure 169cm? kao... heck... after e med check i went back to yishun to meet tim to get e parental consent form for e blood donation... after tat i rushed home to change and have a quick dinner and rushed back to northpt for e second day of work...

arg.. supposed to wake up at 8+ to go for a fren's grandma's funeral, but didn't make it as my mum chose not to wake me up... which proved gd later... met up with tim and ron and tim's school fren for lunch at e foodcourt, after which ron left 1st and 3 more of tim's school frenz came along and we took e mrt to bukit batok, where e blood donation drive was at... no doubt, i was having second thoughts but still i pushed myself and went... by e time we reached there, we found out we actualli had to q... and i was meetin mico in an hour?? oh well since we came all e way here... while waitin we went to "tour" e school as well as find a tchr who was frm tim's school be4... after they chatted i hinted to them tat it could be our turn next... true enough it was our turns next... zhun huh?... when our turns came we were told to go this room where e donation was done... after passing a form and after e doc had us checked, a nurse pricked our finger to test for hiv i think... and when tat was done we were told to wait... from where we were waiting, we could see all e donors and their expressions... so... u could imagine e feelings we felt then... when our turns came, we were to lie on these type of beach chairs, e type which ppl sun tan on, and a nurse would come and settle e procedure... 1st she injected smth in us, and then, came e ONE... a needle tat looked to me almost like a screwdriver... omg... then she inserted tat "needle" in e same spot she injected earlier... of course, e nurse applied some greenish alcohol be4 e injections to lessen e pain... and after bout 15mins, it was finished... while e nurse cut e tubes, i kinda felt giddy... so e chair was adjusted and i was told to lie down and have my legs supported such tat e blood frm my legs could flow down faster... when i laid down, i felt much better already, but e nurse told me to lie down n wait for e doc, who came and told me to just rest... after some "rest" i was finally allowed to leave, and be4 tat we were each given this bag with some stuff in it, and a cert... they said i looked realli pale, but i wasn't surprised... in pri6 when i took my bcg, i also ended up pale after e injection... took a bus direct to orchard while tim and co. took e mrt... after searchin for bout half an hour, i finally found mico with chio hui and kebbie... met up with kym and then we went to cineleisure check out e movies... e dawn of e dead was at 7.30 and 9.35, and e 7.30 one was filling fast, so we bought 5 tix for 9.35... when mic got a call frm weiting tat she was comin, i had to rush and buy an extra ticket, and lucky for her, there was one beside e ones we got!... whew huh... later when all of em came at last, we went for dinner at MOS, where we spent more than an hour from 7+ to 9 talking and laughing... then at 9+ we went back to cine and went up to e cinema... lol weiting and abigail didn't even know tat e movie we were bout to watch was NC-16... which was no wonder... WHOA... dawn of e dead has GOT to be one of e best horror movies i've ever watched... 10PTS!! too bad its NC16, as there was a lot of gore and vulgarities... even though it was a 1.5hour movie, it felt like it was a 2hr+ movie... every part of e movie was either heart stopping or hilarious... nice ending too with a realli matching song-get down wit da sickness by disturbed... absolutely a MUST watch movie... :)

havent updated e past few days.. so gonna do tat now...
sunday 18/4
church today was as usual, finally managed to settle e details for e soccer thingy... after church i went off to e mrt to meet up with gordon and his bandmates, and 2 others, fans i guess... ron and royston came along too, at 1st, but dunno y, after takin e mrt and lrt ALL e way to jelapang, they went back... siaoz... who cares, i came to c their performance and i aint leavin till i c it... i gotta say, e youth there, compared to lil YCCL, were much more lively, supportive and how do u say... vibrant?... unlike e dull and monotonous youth of yccl... no offence dudes and dudettes, but we've got a LOT to catch up on... on tat day they were havin a lil competition of some sort which gordon's band was competing in... his competition were not all tough, except for a malay grp called "small x" (of all names)... they got 1st while gordon's band got 2nd after e votes were counted... they were playing their original, "this is our life", and though his words couldn't be heard properly cos of e PA, they still gt 2nd... MUSICALLY DEAF ROX!!! well, tat meant good, cos e ppl there dont noe him and his grp but voted for them, meaning tat they realli can go FAAARRRR.... gd for them... after e service cum competition ended, we all went back towards yishun, where gordy and his band and his fans left at sembawang 1st to go jammin somewhr.. too bad i couldn't go, had soccer at 4, so i rushed to shaun's block downstairs and after some time, ppl started coming, which was VERY relieving for me cos i feared tat there would be only a few ppl... whew... soccer was GREAT... i have not played for so long already... but i definitely cannot play 'keeper cos i "let" in 3 goals... sux... but managed to score 1 myself later after tim sent e ball high towards goal and i juz chipped e ball over ja'reel, thinking at 1st it was "over" but they reasoned tat he dint jump, so e goal was counted... cool... after soccer most left 1st, and tim, ron and i went for dinner near tim's hse where we juz sat there at e coffee shop talkin and talkin bout a lot of stuff... tim suggested i joined e BB since i'm so "free" at e moment... i dun mind... i guess he's gonna get me e details soon...
monday 19/4
went for a late lunch with my mum at northpt... met david who juz finished his job and was waitin for a fren... too bad he's going SP... tat nite i called up andrew from pasta cafe to ask bout e job... he says we both got e job, and will call e next day bout e details, but we'll probably start only this weekend... YAY..... finally a job....

supposed to go causeway with ron to "update" our phone's firmware... wateva tat is... anw while i was walkin to e bus stop he called and told me to wait for his taxi... taxi?... ok gd for me but y bother?... den when it arrived i hopped in as he explained... we were headin to AMK 1st... and he dint tell me?.. nvm i dun mind anw... well i dun think i oughta give e details but basically his "negotiations" with e phone shop dealers dint go as he planned... but he did get $10 at least plus his taxi fare... then we finally headed to causeway... at nokia care, we found out tat they needed 3hours to update and reformat e phone... so with e 3hrs to spare, we went for a realli late lunch before he went home 1st while i hung around at e nearby library, though not my fav place to be, still, e most time killing yet free place to go... for tat 2-3hours or so i was half reading e "war of e ring" by christopher tokkien and half tryin to get myself comfortable in tat lil "sofa" with a real short support to lean on... with e book e time seemed to fly by rather quickly... i reached nokia care at 6 as we had agreed on though e collection was supposed to be at 6.30... but i went ahead and as i had e documents to both phones i collected both 1st and sat at e side rearranging e phone stuff while waitin for ron to come... when he finally came we checked e phones quite thoroughly for e differences... for one, e ETI camcorder can record videos WITH sound and has NO time recording limit except for e memory itself... awesome... other than tat, nth much's has changed but they made some things more user friendly, but they made it such tat we couldn't send stuff thru e FXplorer thru bluetooth... o well... u win some u lose some... but no matter... e camcorder rox anw....

finally went to look for job with hs as e percentage of gettin it seemed high, with one of our ex classmate having juz left tat job... seems she was rite... though she at 1st a bit scared dint wan2 go in ask, she loosened up later after i got things started :P e guy was real friendly... was realli funny and yet serious at e same time... tats cool...e chances of hs gettin e job was 99% accordin to tat guy while as for me... he said i'd probably end up in e kitchen doin simple stuff... but heck tat's cool... no need to face e customers... after he gave us a brief intro bout e work there and stuff he told us he'd call us no matter whether we got e job or not... tat's cool... they usually dun bother bout u if u dint get e job... after we left we went causeway's library as she wanted to borrow books... though she met her pri sch fren she dint recognise him at 1st den suddenly she exclaimed his name such tat i think he heard, but he probably forgot her already lol... after tat we went causeway look around for a phone for her mum and at e same time have dinner at e food court on e top floor... e sausage omelette came with fried rice and soup, but e soup was almost horrible... dunno how 2 describe... hs's spicy noodles was so spicy she dint finish it lol... feelin bored we decided to go choa chu kang's lot1 since she'd nv been there be4 and i've not went there in dunno how many donkey years... lot1 compared to northpt was... boring... nth much there at all.. haiz pity those livin in tat area... oh well at least there was a coffee bean outlet which was outdoors though... so we juz sat there chattin and drinkin coffee... only thing tat annoyed me was e couple in front of us tat were smoking... i dun realli like e smell of smoke k?... but ignored it anw... after bout an hour we took e mrt home, where we saw this lil kid and its grandma... lol e kid kept knockin his head against e seat purposely... haha... coincidentally they oso alighted at yishun... at home i recieved e letter from e army bout e medical checkup... cool... 18june... juz hope i'll be free tat day frm any camps or stuff...
arg... no music for now... webby dunno upgrading or smth...

okie... as usual, chronological...
Maundy Thurs 8/4
went for e service tat nite... after service found emrys and ron were outside e whole time nv come in... i went for supper with my mum after tat...
Good Fri 9/4
early mornin gotta wake up for e service... well, tat service was one of e most solemn of services i've ever went to... i guess this was e 1st time i actually paid attention to e sermon and service on Good Fri... after pinning e nail onto e cross i felt a lil sick... there was a lot of meanin in doing tat, it symbolised smth... tat though we didn't nail Him to e cross literally, we did so by being sinners.. tat he HAD to die becos of us... later tat nite i watched "the passion of Christ" at lincoln's hse with ron (2nd time) and tim (3rd time watching lol)... e movie really SHOWED how badly Jesus suffered, from e whips with hooks on its ends tat hooked up and tored up His flesh, to e crown of thorns tat was pressed so deeply onto His head, to e mockery and insults tat shamed Him, to e cruel nails tat were hammered into His hands and feet and after tat they even flipped e cross over so tat he hung suspended, supported solely by e nails in his hands and feet, to Death itself on e cross... gosh... i realli wished at tat point tat i was e criminal beside him tat repented and had His assurance tat he'd join Him in Paradise tat day... tat is one lucky guy... o well... i believe every true Christian tat watches this movie will shed at least a tear... it was truly "heartwrenching" to watch as ron put it... my mum said tat in e US, 2 criminals turned themselves in after watching this movie... not difficult to see y... i realli hope tat many non-christians will go watch this movie (M18 though)...
Sat 10/4
stayed overnite at hermann and houston's place to watch wwe wrestlemania with daniel, samuel, ron and tim...while watchin e triple threat match between chris benoit, HHH and HBK i fell aslp lol... tat was bout 3+ i think... but slping on tat chair wasn't quite wat u'd call comfortable... i woke up bout 3 times to change slping position.... end up wakin up at 8... back aching and feeling SO hot... arg... shld have gone in houston's room to slp... got air con... haiz... after watchin spongebob we went for breakfast at a coffee shop be4 i went home to SLP on my bed... ah... den woke up bout 2++ wanted to watch hellboy but end up nv... oh well...
Easter Sunday 11/4
as service started at 11am today, i wasn't late for once... :P well, e service was gd... e choir presentations were great... too bad my mum's not in choir anymore... after service went for lunch, some at BK some at LJS... later after most had left, there were onli me, shaun, tim, verena, amanda and lydia left.. decided to watch "e prince and me".. ver and amanda went 2 J8 dunno buy wad while lydia went causeway meet someone and by e time they all came back we were bout 20mins into e movie... by some luck e movie started juz when we went in... e ads got so many ah?... heck... well e movie wasn't too bad... a slightly more realistic fairy tale... quite funny too... when e movie finished, it was raining real heavily so we went in LJS sit... shaun left 1st, followed by e gals... then tim and i went dinner at food court... e jap food realli rox... after chatting bout lotsa stuff for some time till bout 7++ we went home as he had hw to do lol...

went to e gym with vic and hs today... outside e gym hs was like, dun dare to go in lidat... haha... but vic and i finally managed to get her in... started off by running for 10mins after tat we all tired already, esp vic go and set e speed at 14 when 11 was tiring enuf... after a lil rest we cycled bout 10+mins, then legs a bit "luan" liao... cannot walk properly lol... den tried out e other machines till almost 6 then we went for dinner at causeway's pizza hut... pizza hut rox... e lasagne oso not bad... thx vic... when poly start i must treat yall too ahaha... after e dinner we walked around causeway pt while chatting till bout 7+ den we went home... tml gonna be a boring day...

went for e army interview today with my dad... took more than an hr to get there... stupid ARC... must have it so far.... anw... e interview was kinda scary... e one interviewing me was duno wat sergeant cos his stripes so many dint count... den he suddenly asked me wad my gd qualities were... KAOZ!! so shocked... dint noe wat to say... totally dumbfounded like wat my dad described... den after thinking a while i started bullshittin my way thru... wth... den l8er he say i'll probably need to go back there another interview for smth medical ah 4got liaoz... crap... had lunch at e canteen (e wunton noodles rox $2 ONLI!!!) and went home after tat... was supposed to meet hs and vic at e macs near school but, bloody hell, it started to rain so damn heavily... so we met at school itself... even with an umbrella my whole pants got wet cos e wind kept blowing... so even at e bus stop i had to use e umbrella haha... got to school 1st and e 2 soon came l8er... met up with gordon and some others... e ama twins came l8er too... his band and a few others were to perform but they took turns... though there was a 50mins delay, e gig went well at 1st... e 1st few bands weren't too bad, just tat cant hear wat they singing cos e electric guitar too loud... e 3rd band called SIS or smth liddat was quite gd... a few malay guys starting moshing and right be4 gordo's band performed, e malay guys kinda damaged a glass table... den a few tchrs soon came and mrs sharon shouted to gordy's band, "ONE SONG! TAT'S IT!" and his band started e song he wrote... it was real cool... e best performance then... and then, e STUUUUPID new VP had to come and stop e performance halfway thru his song... dammit..... gordon's band was so sway lorz... from 5/6 songs cut down to 1 and then cut down to half.... ARG!! feel so sry for gordy and his bandmates... haiz... idiot VP couldn't even wait for e band to finish his song... wats his prob???!!! oh well hope there'll be another gig SOMEWHR ELSE sometime in e future soon then, though i'll probably have to wait till their Os r over... anw me, vic, hs and e ama twins went for dinner at delifrance after tat... e coupons didn't make much diff in e price though... but e sandwiches and tarts were quite gd... over dinner we talked bout how e twins' jc life is like, how poly life will gonna rock and also bout some old classmates etc etc... oh yea hs oso showed e twins e videos from e other day of how vic got bitten by hs e "dog" lol... den suddenly hs suggested a class gathering which was supposed to happen last month but didn't, so she suggested a picnic whereby every1 was to bring smth each, like a potluck dinner... hope it'll be successful unlike e "bbq".....

kaoz.. TIREED sial... had to wake up early go church help out in e compilation of e AGM booklets with my dad... mum couldn't go cos of smth... oh well... e work was so damn similar to e manuals work at motorola then... some more got QC oso... bth... e ppl there mostly my frenz' parents and my parents' frenz so i know them... but kinda annoyed when i heard one of em say "at least she got her husband and CHILD here..." crap... i aint no CHILD woman! sheeesh..... anw i 4got bout it soon (stm as usual) and went 4 lunch at e coffee shop nearby... kao e plate of vegee cost $5!! so damn ex... but e lunch was paid for by e pastor supposedly as a way of thx... and i wasn't e one ordering anw... after tat took cab home wif my dad... a few hrs later ron suddenly called me say go play soccer with em... but i wanted to WATCH soccer later at 7 (Man U VS ARSEnal) so went early... ended up ron and em play com games at em's hse... crap... until 6+ den they say wad dun watch e match... crap... so dint watch lorz... but manage to find out tat... MAN U WON!!! yay... so relieved... esp when its e semi finals of e FA cup... haha ron was like, NO!!! stupid sia... be4 tat he was saying how Man U can nv win ARSEnal... haha yea!!! proved him wrong!! hahahaha.... :P den l8er finally went to play some basketball which i totally sucked at and a lil bit of street soccer... cant wait for tml play soccer with e church ppl... cool... but dunno how oso... play for fun or train... hmm... tml ask them vote bah... aiyaa tml den tok lahz... gotta slp liao or else late for church AGAIN... :P

*yawn* had to wake up esp early today just to confirm e LOTR exhibition with nat... "meet at 12.30" was e sms but by e time i got there at 12.45 or smth, i couldn't find them... turned out she and kym were upstairs zzzz... saw my ah ma rong ee coincidentally too... she was going 2 work... too bad mic couldn't make it... haiz... but anw... e LOTR exhibition was totally AWESOME... everything a lotr fan would want to see is there... from e 9 rings given to men to e suits tat each character wore to e weapons each of them bore to even e prostetic legs and stuff to e life-size figure of Boromir in a small boat with his shield and sword... and MANY MANY MORE... i can't believe "he" was made of silicon... he looked SO real... until i can imagine him opening his eyes and wielding his sword... damn sux tat can't take pics... if not i think my phone'll be outta memory for sure... arg... e real ring of sauron itself was a beauty... they placed it in e middle of a dark room whr u can hear things like "cast it into e fire" and e ring was in a tube of some liquid i think... but there were no markings on e ring... e one i bought has markings... real cool... my precious... hehe... if i had more money i'd have bought e Evenstar and maybe one of e swords and a nicer version of e ring... haiz... kao e mac's there was invaded by pri school kids... no choice so we went coffee shop instead... had popiah and pancake from e "pancake king"... after tat went home liaoz so sianz... mayb i'll go back in june or smth... hmm...

e last fews days have been BORING... i'm rotting away... seems vic and hs oso e same as me.... so sian until e 3 of us went to hang out at bugis... beats staying at home facing e com e whole day rite?.. there we dint do much, juz walk around... vic kept poking fun at hs saying she was "fat" when of course she isn't and e 2 of them kept whacking each other lol... so we decided to go play badminton next monday to "get her in shape" lol... can imagine wat it must have been like when e 2 of them were still a couple... but of course no pt saying tat now when vic got gf liao ahahaha.... still, i feel a lil extra u noe... :P somehow, we ended up walking all e way from bugis to suntec city... had coffee at coffee bean whr we sat there almost 2 hrs and e 2 of them were pinching and biting and whacking again... poor vic got quite a few bite marks now LOL... hs only got a small mark but vic's teeth muz have been sharp enuf to make her bleed a lil... wanted to visit mic but didn't in e end cos we're quite tired i guess from all e walking.. and whacking lol... o well... l8er then...
