work the past 2 days (or nights rather) have been crap. on fri ended at 10.50, and today wasn't much better; we ended at 10.35.. somehow the trend now is to have dinner after 8pm huh? its seems so; ppl start flooding the area onli after 7++.. wth? on both days we even had ppl strolling in at 9.25, when our last order is at 9.30? and on fri, there were sooo many desserts ordered that hui jia couldn't start bar close till bout 9.30, when usualli it should be at 9 or so.
well enough bout work, school this week seems slack, but we've got 4 reports due this coming week. O.O yeah how about tat.. and after tat, chinese new year/study week break. toot sia they combined our 1 week break with e chinese new year break, so now we've 2 days hol LESS.. how smart of them :/
sigh. i miss jamming. haven't touch the drums in a WEEK!! somehow this week's practice was cancelled.. so we've only this coming week to practise for next sunday's service. hmmm tml's like my "off day" at church LOL. and after tat it's 3 weeks of drums, usher, and drums again. oh wellz. gonna play soccer again tml if royy can't make it for jamming.. not tat we've got the room anw.. sigh.
anyone noticed last nite's moon? it was kinda reddish.. weird..
oh and i've "koped" some more of benedict's songs heh.. i realli need to find sources... :/

and yes, it's over.. the 3 realli painfully tiring yet satisfying days are finally over.. quite sad tho cos it means.. back to lectures.... sigh. well here're some pics i took of JS and CJ in their kendo stall.. they actually performed this for us!! ahaha how niceeeeeee~

well if kendo wasn't so ex i'd definitely joined but hell.. the shinai (the weapon) itself costs 100+, and the armour is worse.. haha but it's cool.. i didn't take anymore so if u want some go evans's and have a look see.. u'll see wad i wore for german.. :/
church on sunday wasn't too bad.. i didn't play too well i think.. made a few noticable mistakes but wasn't e onli one tho!! wahahaha but we got thru it anw.. DG was pushed up as bryan had sailing race on.. so after dg i had breakfast and joined darius's DG.. it was cool.. their room was much nicer!! unlike ours.. we're forced to use the kiddies room yea? the chairs are like.. mini!! ron and royy were in tat DG so it was even more fun.. hmmm.. we didn't jam today sadly. but i guess fri was good enough.. we had the whole day of jamming on fri yea.. anw royy had to go off early and i was left with ron and jas.. went for GS and then while heading to starbucks met lyd ver and jearlene.. and chatted a lil be4 they went off for their movie while we just sat at starbucks.. till i had to go home to change for soccer!~ yeah man it's beeen a looooong time.. tho i didn't score any this time, i felt tat it was one of the best games i've played so far.. the team we usually played with combined with us and we played with some other guys, INCLUDING the "tiger" guy.. he ALWAYS wears e same old red tiger shirt.. and guess wat, i played defender and he just HAD to be attacking towards MY direction. heh.. he asked for it! not to brag or anything, but he nv came close to scoring! wahahaha i feel goood man!! esp after he took me down and i SHOUTED at him LOL. he scared of me now eh.. whahahahah!~ and we actually won them 3-1, when we were losing 1-0 at first.. actualli we nv intended on playing them but they insisted, so as there's other no place on the field to play, it was game on! and mind u, those guys were mostly indians and they looked pro! haha we even thought we would prolly lose at first, but well.. haha divide and conquer! we played as a team and WON as a team.. and now, my legs are aching.. lol too long nv play liao..
monday was such a boring day for school. sometimes i wish everyday was a sunday. hell, who doesn't! today wasn't any better; i slpt thru the 2 hrs of biostats lecture... soooo boring.. and during IT lecture i chatted with some course mate thru bluetooth. yeah its true! and i'm not realli who tat person is even till now lol. well luckily both monday's and today's practicals were easy.. finished in an hour or so..
work just now was also, booooring.. replacing huisin actualli.. but seriously.. reached there on the dot at 6 (ehh liying ah i left house at 5.50 hor and WALKED there some more hehe~) and an hour was spent just lazing around, reading papers and walking back and forth.. then at bout 7 we finalli got a customer but soon they left and it was empty for some time, before the people started flowing in.. but still moderate.. not busy realli.. and the last customer left at bout 9? leaving us to finish our closing and by 9.50 we were all done.. andrew was real nice today dunno y.. haha help me sweep carpet and helped joline mop some areas too.. well tat's bout it for now.. remind me to take more photos.. i seem to be photoblogging real little nowadays... hmmm..
my legs STILL ache....... :/

2nd post in just an hour.. i kinda forgot to include wad happened in the 2 band pracs earlier.. 1st was 2nd coming band prac.. and ron came damn late.. but it was cool we did the same songs and i think we improved for "one way".. and we played a rather simple song too.. "come bless the Lord".. but.. we played it 5 times, FROM SLOW TO FAST!! and damn it was fun!! esp when i'm the drummer??!! lol the last one was sooo fast i was vibrating man!! lolx. the youth service one was a lil more serious, but still was quite fun.. i think i got the vibe from the "come bless the Lord" that i ALSO played super fast for some of the songs and hermann, sherrie, and the rest were laughing away~ but managed to get back to normal speed somehow~! the hillsongs "worthy is the lamb" intro is damn nice.. and lina could do a similar version too! cool~ anws gonna have more band prac tml too! managed to borrow the keys from pam!! wheeeeeee thx pam!! lolx~

for a start, NYP IS NOT OPEN TML, 21/1, FRI!! or u'll find urself standing outside locked gates lol.
well the 1st 2 days of the open house were kinda fun. wed was the 1st time we put on the silly looking costumes and took quite some time to actually change into it too! and the performance was just as silly.. if not DUMB.. we had to lip-sing the words?.. and the songs were just repetative.. put it simply, BORING!! even mr jay and ms shailu who were watching at 1st got bored real fast after laughing at our costumes and well went off.. and missed our dance lol. i had to partner their german chairwoman i think.. but it worked out and didn't mess up with that, OTHER than the fact tat.. my green "bra-straps" fell off while dancing.. gosh i could hear some gigglings down stage.. DAMN embarassing.. i'll post e pics when i get them if wanna know wad e straps look like. anw after the dance we had the tour guiding thingy.. and i happened to have to guide some old school mates?.. all opss.. but didn't recognise many of them.. sec5s but they look (and act) like sec2 or 3s.. -shakes head- but it went rather okay i guess.. ian was suffering a lil trying to control them lol.. cos they were a lil hard to handle.. oh and evans drove us to the mrt (at least) wahahaha.. cos we weren't on the way i guess.. anw he's a great driver! i suddenly felt like takin the theory soon already lol. and tat was our tiring 1st day.
today wasn't too bad either.. better actualli.. didn't need to guide lil creeps arnd and was more comfortable wit the dance.. this time ended up partnering the dance coordinator.. and didn't screw up either except tat this time, ONE side of the strap fell off LOL!~ but she helped me so it wasn't too obvious lol. and after the dance we were supposed to do a second dance but i forgot and LED e others down.. so yeah monkey see monkey do and all of them came down. but still, as there was this german guest there, we still had to perform the last dance for her.. and we did it in the TFA where the french club were too.. haha well the german lady seemed to have enjoyed it i guess and well.. mission accomplished.
2 days down, 1 to go. the things i do for ONE CCA POINT, and of cos for my frenz. -rolls eyes-

i can't believe it! just 2 days to practise before open house and i'm a total newb to dancing!! crap.. i kinda got pulled into the german club's dance performance as ying's partner wanted out. ahhhhh. gotta do some kinda folk dance. O.O but i guess it was quite fun. but i'm sure gonna make a fool out of myself this week for sure, WITH OR W/O THE WEIRD COSTUMES!! yikes!.. and some of the dance moves were damn stupid too.. geez. hope i dun get recognised.

okaaay changed the colours for most parts so now it looks better(?).. yeah did tat last nite so didn't have time 2 bloggggg.. anw here goes.
work-
both fri and sat were not too bad; it wasn't too busy.. haha ms eunice tan came on fri with her "sis?" and got herself a free drink from andrew lol. she dint even know tat nyp staff have discount LOL. well i think she recognises me in e 1st place becos of that time i slpt in lecture and got me on film :P wahahaha but anw.. did bar close on fri for shili to check for e last time cos she was quitting.. and she said it was quite gd. didn't miss anything much cept to turn off a switch. =( sad sia. "pasta has just lost one of it's best." sat was her last day and it wasn't too bad.. oh wellz..
school-
somehow this week flew by rather quickly. at least faster than i thought it'd be. 1 of our pracs was quite interesting.. we had to infect some cells with viruses.. and see how it affects the cells.. quite cool. but again gotta draw.. can't stand art! :/ but.. on the whole school this week was not too bad i guess. =)
church/band-
church today was fun! reached on time for duty but was panicking as joshua disappeared along with the bulletins.. ron brought 2 frenz too.. didn't talk much with the guy but jasmine was a nice gal.. somehow felt a lil sick during breakfast. feverish.. hmmm. dg today was a lil more crowded as we had weiyong and felix along with kok long.. bryan was leading as lincoln wasn't around.. i think he's quite a gd job leading! pro guitarist some more hehe. sadly after dg we couldn't jam much as the choir was using the music room. but we DID get some practise.. i'm already rusty with our 1st song oh man. gotta prac more.. but sunday its almost impossible to jam liao.. with royy having a tite schedule.. haiz.. oh jasmine came along too and watched.. haha seems she too is interested in drums. tats makes her the 2nd short gal interested in drums :PPP during lunch we talked quite a bit too.. and after tat we somehow ended up GS-ing. those 2 realli lost touch liao eh.. wahahaha. well me too actualli. missed some give away medals!! omg. but completed nevertheless.
SIGH. i got a letter for NS.. gotta sign up liao. geeez i sense dejavu~

*[[ new year - new skin ]]*

2 weeks into e new yr. somehow decided to change the skin as the old one was BORING! (i can hear some of u saying "about time chris!" already..) so.. went hunting for one and found this.. i liked the theme immediately when i saw it.. esp the pic. yeps. it's pretty neat, but ironically messy too. had to spend quite sometime rearranging the boxes etc.. but it wasn't too bad as the end result was nice!~ but.. yeah the colours can spoil the eye. ah. will do smth bout it later.. also, the background is black, so some of the stuff are kinda camoflaged by it.. but i've reduced most of them i guess. oh and it's kinda tight. dunno if i should keep it short or let it long.. hmmm. and quite a lot of stuff i wanna put got no space put.. so.. i'm thinking long.. anw i'll do tat later.. now i gotta go find lotsa sources for songs! if u haven't noticed this skin comes with a music player! real cool! but need to find sources.. i've included p10 in so if u're sick of the same songs over and over.. yeah.. i think i'll put in class95 too?.. maybe. for now i'll hit the sack. will blog proper tml. l8r~

back after having not blogged for quite some time le..
work-
well fri and sat's work was quite ok.. on fri got 2 know 2 new colleagues gabrielle and elaine.. nice ppl.. haha but need to buck up a lil i guess.. sat was quite slack.. 4 of us plus james and it wasn't busy much.. and i was the more n00ber one there considering the other 3 were more senior den me.. and we left at 10pm sharp unlike fri.. i was unlucky tio bar close.. 10.45 den finish.. sian.
school-
quite busy past week.. got reports and tutorials to do.. hmmm organic chem tchr ms lim was quite nice. i dint do tut but she didn't seem unhappy much.. just told me nicely to do it next time.. well i shoulda done it instead of the reports damn. coulda done reports after tut... bah. also been going arnd city hall area taking pics with nuh hao and su 2 days in a row for NE project.. basically, tiring week la. which went by damn slow too.
church/band-
today was great i guess. didn't screw up much this morn.. 1st time playing for service and i was soo damn nervous. but managed to get thru with God's grace and our 2 practises =D and yeah dennis and a few others were quite impressed lol. Happy 21st bday Jonathan! haha 21 yrs in e same church! tat is cool. after having breakfast we had a DG rearrangement thru some (lame) game lol. but my dg still basically the same.. only ron and royy's was affected i think.. no more mark? for e time being i think. so they're shifted to darius' grp. after tat had a bit of warm up at music room be4 we had lunch and GS.. after tat we went back to jam some more be4 we got chased out and we went to GS some more till 5+ lol.. basically a great sunday!~ just wished we had more time to jam.. well at least we got started on "one way".. tat's cool.
tat's bout it i guess. sigh tml school again.. o wellz l8r~!

i can't believe me and cj both made the same mistake; we brought EVERY OTHER practical book EXCEPT organic chem, and tat was the only book we had to bring. -_- lucky our new organic chem prac tchr was nice enough to understand.. yea i know. doh! wanted to do our prac reports for the other modules but couldn't cos the com lab assistant says we can't. wtf. arg~! anws 4 hrs of break today would have been soooo boring, if not for the invention of the ARCADE. yup. went to arcade play some GS with cj.. and boy was he a pro. funny thing is, he's a pro when playing with me. weird huh? lolx. and i also tried out the drummania thingy.. 1st time was horrible. but 2nd time i could get it right.. wanna go again! =) but of cos when there's a looong break, like maybe this fri?.. SIX HOURS! omg. dumb timetable. ahh and i still havent done the pract reports.. which require us to do quite a tad bit of DRAWING.. damn i hate art. which is y i entered 3a2 not 3a3 or 3a4 2yrs ago!~ and now.. we've to draw bloody viruses like HIV and cells from ur spleen etc.. arhhhhh...
sigh looking at some church friends going into sec4 just reminds me of the innocent bliss of secondary school days.. haiz i miss those guys, esp da 4reigners, 2 of which are not even in sg.. sigh.. i miss the recess, i miss standing outside class for not doing work and i miss almost everything in my sec3/4 life.. i really regret having not treasure those days when i could.. haiz time really flies doesn't it..
