*[[ doctorates are getting more common than common sense ]]*

i hate hate HATE tat supervisor of mine. if there's a female version to ngcheewei, she's it, except she somehow has a doctorate. wtf. but whew, presentation went pretty well, even though we dint rehearse or anything. but i think tat bitch's gonna mark me down for assessment, thinking i dun have enthusiasm and what-not in the assessment criteria. bleah. bye bye 15%.

other than that incident in e morning, things went pretty ok from then.. first me angel wei hong and jaryl went for lunch at pizza hut, when none of us had pizza and all of us got baked rice/pasta instead lols. but it was not too bad just a bit too cheeesy. but when i carried the ton of scores to e band room it wasn't open thanks to someone who HAD to take e key, and i had to waste an hour waiting. no biggie anw.

waited for ian and shakeila to finish their project parts before me and ian went for e percussion ensemble performance at vch, which, i had no idea at first, had too much strings. violin, viola, string bass etc etc. i expected more from e percussion but there was too much strings. esp the 1st piece where the solo violinist totally put me to sleep. and apparently sherrie who was there too also felt the same wahahaha. well it was a real coincidence we dint see each other at vch, but at subway at raffles city. but anws carmen suite was much better. more familiarity with it and also the strings were more tolerable, even pleasant at certain movements. shall find out the history of it soon!

oh yea. HAPPY 18TH BDAY EILEEN!! UR PREZZIE STILL WITH ME! hehs.

in school now just waiting for 4.30 to come when i came across this debate between muslims. quite interesting to see them debating each other instead of against christians or wadeva.

and other article i read some time ago. about how this alfgan named abdul rahman has converted to christianity and escaped death. for now at least. God bless the fella. anws go read. i gotta go feed the fishies. ciao.

*[[ i need a brrrreak. ]]*

i think if not for the rest i had on sunday which was kinda accidental, i'd be real damn lethargic by now. everyday having to go to school for final year project (FYP) at what, 9.30 to 10 when it's supposed to be at 8.30 but then nobody really cares, and getting dismissed at 4.30 when it's supposed to be at 5, and THEN after that having stuff like percussion sectionals, band, packing scores (damn librarian work), band again, and german dance practices for the upcoming german expo. so usually when i get home it's already 9+ to 10+.

and for the first week for FYP, we were wasting time watching library movies and washing fish tanks and watching more movies on angel's lappie. since last week till now i watched minority report, transporter 1, transamerica, final destination 3, insomnia, and while packing scores, date movie which was as what clement had said in one of his posts, a total waste of time as it was full of lame crappy jokes and sorry assed singing. unless u're a lamer, dun watch it. anws like i was saying, i had THAT much time la. but not anymore i guess. tat moronic doctor we're under finally came to know about our existence and gave us the info we were needing to start the friggin project. what's the project u ask? top secret =X

but i'll tell u one thing that isn't. exam results are out. i somehow got my GPA up by 0.02. how comforting -.- but honestly, i have mr. micheal to thank for tat sole B for protein tech. otherwise i'd prolly be sulking over a drop in my GPA.

i think there's more stuff i was planning to blog but i'll add them if i rmb. but for now, i'm off to youtube~! bleach rocks! =D

*[[ my so-called holiday ]]*

last sunday at dom's was a blast! we had a great time tats for sure, watching 3 movies in all and the super good bbq and drinks! and i slept at 3.30am++, to wake up at 6.30am! shiet i was so tired but had to go to school (or so i tot) at 8.30am sharp. turns out that i went early for nth. dammit.

tues to thurs was scl arts drama rehearsals and the drama itself all the way.. i'll have to say, it was a success! there was quite a large turnout! and everyone was saying it was good, even AK sent us an sms thanking us for putting it up and how it took his mind off work and all. THANK YOU all those who turned up, dom, rayson, arden and allison, not forgetting sanjeev and dee, wx and steph, and all those from mb! it wouldn't have been a success w/o you!

and then came band, from thurs nite till juz now about 8pm. am i tired or what. thurs was normal band prac but i was the only librarian so i had to pack the scores with some help from ppl with william and huimin. fri i was supposed to have zeeebrafish at 9.30 in the morn, but i overslpt and came school only for the band meeting.. and then just now we (6girls and me the only guy) went about packing scores and putting up the platforms! i'm not sure if its good but we'll see tues whether theres space for percussion! day ended with the few of us dining at kfc.

i'll bet i wont be turning up for DG tml. there's still teohui and jasper's concert SWS tml. i reallly wanna sleep in. like for 16hours at least. lols.

*[[ here my troubles begin.. ]]*

yeah exams are over. i regret not studying enough for some of those papers but thats that. kapuut. but nope, NO HOLIDAYS. yet at least. prolly until about a year later. omg. others get at least a week's break but my project is "special" and we start monday. hopefully i'll learn a thing or 2 at all from angeline. zebrafish and PCR wasn't exactly what i had in mind, but it'll do. it'll do.
and then after 3 months of this project, we embark for Ayer Rajah Crescent, where we'll be having our attachments. =DD and we have one of the best pays; $450/month! okok not "pay" but rather "allowance". works for me tho! hehe. and basically what it says we're doing there is assisting in health screening of sorts. possibly we might learn blood drawing. hoho. well i can't wait! in fact i even went to the extent of looking into google earth to see how the place looked like and how to get there etc etc.. and i dun even start till 5th june! lols.

final year project and attachment work aside, the school play's coming. damn i'm screwed. i wonder if anyone will BOTHER going to watch at all. hopefully not much cos i'll prolly screw up some parts. and i haven't memorised my script. WHY?? WHY OF ALL THE BLARDI SCL GUYS AM I MADE TO PLAY THE STUPID MALE LEAD?? sheeesh and the female lead's not exactly the one i had in mind either. and i've to propose to her. wtf. i'm screwed for the last year in nyp!! sigh. strangely i'm gonna be in the good friday drama too. gonna find out wad's it gonna be like tml. after the perc tuition =D

and sunday's gonna be a blast i hope. dom's having a bbq for the bday babies of the month at the same time a sleepover. of course sleep isn't gonna be smth most of them tat they'd be doing. the usual, mahjong, daidee, ps2, and what not.. thing is, i'm prolly gonna have to go to school from his place. =/

oh before i forget, just a review of a book i read and a movie i caught.
MAUS is kinda like a comic book but with a more serious side to it; it covers details of a jew in the time of Hitler. ALL the details. it's in 2 parts and i finished the 2nd one today. definitely recommended for side reading. thanks to ian for the intro.

for those who caught underworld and are currently at least 18 years old, GO CATCH UNDERWORLD EVOLUTION! 'nuff said really. it's good stuff! even tho i dint watch the 1st installment i still enjoyed it! hehe XD

ah well. the bed beckons. i need sleep.
