*[[ long awaited update? ahaha. ]]*

it's been 1 heck of a busy weekend so that's why this update took so long ok? if not for the fact that bosses are late today i wouldn't have time to type this out. anws.......

fri i went to regent sec concert with laoshi, huimin, meifen, jolene and william, and it was quite good actually, especially their 2nd half. the drummer girls rocked! i can't wait to meet them when we have the band exchange in sept or smth xD even laoshi nudged me pointing them out saying they were not bad and all. haha. and i think their sec1s were better than their seniors when they played a song in the 2nd half by themselves. and coincidentally i met isabel whom i didn't know was from regent, and houston and lincoln who were there to support an alumni player. i also saw 2 amb members from bfh but i guess they forgot me ba. anws after the concert we went arnd taking pictures at e merlion and esplanade.. just too bad my attachment had to end so late cos of e bosses grrrrr. one sad news was that the convenience store downstairs closed down! poor uncle. the rent went up. damn la no more snacks to buy for mid office hours. argh.

sat was ndp preview! and hell it was tiring la. no wx to crap with but instead i had cheryln for company! =D somehow she still joined in even tho she didn't come for the previous rehearsals haha. so for the whole day it was my 2 guy frenz from the prev weeks and her handling 1 giant sector. woooh! but it went ok i guess. left one more last time! hiosh!

woke up late on sunday lols. but just nice when i on my phone i got a call from huimin to help out at ntu alumni's performance which was in the middle of the new newton food centre! actually i wasn't really needed la. there was about 4 percussionists in total but somehow i still had parts to play, esp JUPITER! xP i just looooove that song man! and also got forced to play kinki kids which was sooo tiring (it was 16 beat all the way) that i switched to normal semi quavers in the middle. exhausting. how did teohui do it? haha remind me to ask him. and we also played sketches of spain, orpheus, pop in e spots, lyric waltz, ra-smth march, and can't take my eyes off u. and after the performance dinner was provided! woots the food was damn good la too bad the uncle didn't take us seriously when we ordered a 2nd stingray. danggg.

well that's all about it for my weekends. back to more mario. xD

yay i'm sooo happy! finally gonna watch pirates with my crazy bunch of bandmates and i finally can have about 3 hours more slp. i had to wake up at 5 this morning cos we had to reach jurong by 7! omg. but the day passed by and finally we were let off. and instead of having to wake up at 5 again tml, i can slp till 8 cos the boss wants us to do the paperwork in e office. anws thats not the point.

this time, it's more marcus sake. ahahaha.
NO BAND UNTIL ATTACHMENT'S OVER! BOO! =( but sam suggested we met anws as if we had band in the bandroom itself haha. sounds good to me =D so today was the last prac for the next few wks and sadly my section had a lousy turn-out. lucky for me there was shirlyn, otherwise i'd be dead bored. but the songs were mostly ok; we played jupiter and pop in the spots! yay! cos that lobbie wasn't arnd i had to play drum set for both! XD and then came some others like praise jeruselam, czardas and the chinese romantic charm song. "HEY, HEY, HEY HEY!" ahahaha. what a weird song. but fun nonetheless. and we ended off with pirates! XDD damn i can't wait for tml, and i'm sure i'm not the onli one =DD supper was as usual, the whole gang at kfc (again) and somehow, i got "paired" with mf. wth la jolene! damn bo liao eh. but doesn't matter la.. i dun have to be attached to be happy! u guys are all i need =D

COLDPLAY WAS AWESOME!! I SO DO NOT REGRET IT EVEN THO I WENT ALONE!! grace was sooo right about the lighting effects being totally cool and all.. THOSE WHO MISSED IT (hint hint shaun :P), TOO BAD! lols~ i did take some pics and a vid but posted them in my multiply so check it out over there..

was that on monday? omgwthbbq it's THURS already~! time flies eh. and tml the bosses are back. damnnnn. then again it doesn't make much difference. except we get to go off a lil earlier than usual. which is good! busy days to come next week! =(

argh. in a space of 2 days 2 good friends went abroad to study; teo hui to melbourne (EH U HOW OLD LIAO STILL STUDYING!!) and sakib to m'sia's monash, which leaves me to be e last of e "4reigners" left in s'pore since mico's still in cali and andre still somewhere in aust.. sigh. will miss u guys.

okok for samuel's sake, i'll blog more about band =P
I LIKE THE CURRENT SONGS!! CZARDAS AND DIABOLIQUE ARE DAMN NICEEEE!! haha even the chinese romantic charm song is nice la! at least compared to last year, i'm playing more snare parts! but i still can't get used to the traditional grip! need isk to teach again since i dint learn much on monday =/ which reminds me. i feel so under-appreciated!!~! that tooting SL so tooting useless can't frigging open e bandroom door when he's free and expect me to find him at blk Q and walk to the other end to open e room. knnbccb la!! if i chose not to come for that 1 hour wtf are e others gonna do? stay outside bandroom wait for nth ah! nb. tooting useless. ok. i feel better now. oh yea thanks to huimin for getting richard and jolene to help out in librarian duties~ i think they're great choices since i always see them arnd, esp that crab. lols.

sometimes we just hate the internet don't we. i don't know what happened and when, but now i'm facing an OUTBREAK!! dammit. which spyware remover can u trust?! the 1st one i installed created more problems! ARGHHHHHHHH.

band camp was fun! actually, the whole of last week was fun! except for the part where i go attachment. our performance was a lil screwy, but, who cares! and the band camp! if onli we had an extra night, but i guess everyone was tired from not enough sleep the previous night! lols. stupid jasper kept talking non stop until poor marcus couldn't slp lols. but anw we ended up staying over at karen's after hanging out in suntec, marina and clarke quay.. damn the bus ride was SO long, we had to stand for almost an hour! but it was fun anws lalala.

then came sunday and i had to go to school for the ndp briefing on an empty stomach and spent about 5-6 hours doing nth but attend a stupid talk and walk around the national stadium for nth. what a colossal waste of time! thankfully i had wx for company! well, not thruout but at least. its different this year tho. we're almost certainly going to be clowns keeping the spectators smiling by doing God-knows-what. last year was so much easier. ah well. billy bombers was the bomb! haha we ended up heading to marina (where i had BK like 21 hours ago) to have my 1st meal of the day. lols. my b52 burger and wx's chicken was seriously damn nice! and not forgetting e milkshakes! haha now i know what they say about billy bombers' milkshakes being the best. hahaha.

well now that funs' over, it's back to work and already tml till thurs we're packed with projects. actually the WHOLE month is packed with projects. i hate wearing formal. but will still go back band.. poor yunyue's alone doing e librarian stuff and i'm seemingly useless. arghhh. for the 16230137912073 time, why am i librarian again?

oh yah sectionals today was kinda fun, and isk is thinkin of getting us put up a percussion ensemble concert! cool! hope it goes well.
