haiz... been busy busy busy almost all of e past few days...
thurs 22/4
it was my 1st day at work at pasta cafe as a waiter (dun u dare laugh) and it wasn't too bad... 6pm-10pm... e colleagues were all gals cos from wat i heard, they dont usually employ males as waiters... hmmm...
fri 23/4
i had to go for a medical checkup for poly stuff... so after lunch with my mum, we walked to e polyclinic thinking they do med checks but, wad do u noe, they dont... so we walked to e mrt station to woodlands where i rmb-ed frm e booklet tat they did e checks... reaching there i met some ex-colleagues like zhi cong and poh huat, and even ed came too later...e med check wasn't much, a chest x-ray tat lasted for a sec, but e as for e ht and wt, e person recording must have been deaf or realli mischevious... she minus-ed 10 from my ht and wt!! kaoz... no wonder y i felt weird when i saw e figures... how could i weigh 51kg and measure 169cm? kao... heck... after e med check i went back to yishun to meet tim to get e parental consent form for e blood donation... after tat i rushed home to change and have a quick dinner and rushed back to northpt for e second day of work...
sat 24/4
arg.. supposed to wake up at 8+ to go for a fren's grandma's funeral, but didn't make it as my mum chose not to wake me up... which proved gd later... met up with tim and ron and tim's school fren for lunch at e foodcourt, after which ron left 1st and 3 more of tim's school frenz came along and we took e mrt to bukit batok, where e blood donation drive was at... no doubt, i was having second thoughts but still i pushed myself and went... by e time we reached there, we found out we actualli had to q... and i was meetin mico in an hour?? oh well since we came all e way here... while waitin we went to "tour" e school as well as find a tchr who was frm tim's school be4... after they chatted i hinted to them tat it could be our turn next... true enough it was our turns next... zhun huh?... when our turns came we were told to go this room where e donation was done... after passing a form and after e doc had us checked, a nurse pricked our finger to test for hiv i think... and when tat was done we were told to wait... from where we were waiting, we could see all e donors and their expressions... so... u could imagine e feelings we felt then... when our turns came, we were to lie on these type of beach chairs, e type which ppl sun tan on, and a nurse would come and settle e procedure... 1st she injected smth in us, and then, came e ONE... a needle tat looked to me almost like a screwdriver... omg... then she inserted tat "needle" in e same spot she injected earlier... of course, e nurse applied some greenish alcohol be4 e injections to lessen e pain... and after bout 15mins, it was finished... while e nurse cut e tubes, i kinda felt giddy... so e chair was adjusted and i was told to lie down and have my legs supported such tat e blood frm my legs could flow down faster... when i laid down, i felt much better already, but e nurse told me to lie down n wait for e doc, who came and told me to just rest... after some "rest" i was finally allowed to leave, and be4 tat we were each given this bag with some stuff in it, and a cert... they said i looked realli pale, but i wasn't surprised... in pri6 when i took my bcg, i also ended up pale after e injection... took a bus direct to orchard while tim and co. took e mrt... after searchin for bout half an hour, i finally found mico with chio hui and kebbie... met up with kym and then we went to cineleisure check out e movies... e dawn of e dead was at 7.30 and 9.35, and e 7.30 one was filling fast, so we bought 5 tix for 9.35... when mic got a call frm weiting tat she was comin, i had to rush and buy an extra ticket, and lucky for her, there was one beside e ones we got!... whew huh... later when all of em came at last, we went for dinner at MOS, where we spent more than an hour from 7+ to 9 talking and laughing... then at 9+ we went back to cine and went up to e cinema... lol weiting and abigail didn't even know tat e movie we were bout to watch was NC-16... which was no wonder... WHOA... dawn of e dead has GOT to be one of e best horror movies i've ever watched... 10PTS!! too bad its NC16, as there was a lot of gore and vulgarities... even though it was a 1.5hour movie, it felt like it was a 2hr+ movie... every part of e movie was either heart stopping or hilarious... nice ending too with a realli matching song-get down wit da sickness by disturbed... absolutely a MUST watch movie... :)
