Was 2.30pm by the time I reached the place I was supposed to go to at 2, but it didn't really matter. I was told to wait for awhile before being lead into the same room where others were also waiting for the consultation by the "docs".. While waiting they showed a dvd bout life in NS, and it didn't seem all that bad.. To me NS is much like school, except instead of textbooks there're guns? And instead of annoying teachers there're your officers or wateva they're called.. And the only homework u have is exercise?.. Anyway, the "doc" was typing away after I entered and was told to be seated. So as I sat he asked casually if I had my blood "extracted" (I dunno what word to use :P) so I said yeah, the day before yesterday. Then after he continued some typing he suddenly said that since my blood test was not out yet they can't do anything bout it so I've gotta wait till the end of June when the results are out.. So.. Had a quick lunch-dinner at their canteen.. Food there is much cheaper compared to "kopitiams" outside.. And they add more ingredients... Then after the makan I left, took bus back to Redhill MRT, and took MRT back to Yishun.. Long ride back.. Yawn~
Back at Yishun it was an hour before my work starts, so went to look see CDs... Found ADF's CD which I bought (and am listening right now) after some thought. Found Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue too but didn't buy that.. Maybe later?.. So after that I went for work though it was still early. But I thought it might be possible to clock in an extra half hour or so, so what the heck.. Only Jamie was there when I got there, but Sharon appeared soon after. Yasmin was on time I think. But from 6 onwards, work was almost non-stop... There were SO many people today.. Which included the Mah family.. At 1st i thought she didn't recognise me cos she gave that "yes?" kind of look, but after 2 secs she was "ooohhh its you!.." But anyway we were busy almost constantly.. I don't think there was a minute or 2 that I could just stand and not move.. And later, I was to do bar closing by myself!.. But Sharon helped me out where I forgot cos I spent half the time trying to remember what it was I needed to do... So must thank her a lot.. So that's bout it I guess. One of the most boring entries I've posted right?.. Chris, OUT.
