Well.. Just where should I start?... Church then...
Parents' day
As today was supposedly "Parents' day", there was no DGs... But instead of going to the main sanctuary for the service with my parents as suggested, I didn't... Whatever for?? My mom's in the dialect service upstairs and I know nuts bout dialect and I can't be bothered with my dad... Hell, I've had more than enough of his complaints! When I was jobless, he complained that I was very free, waking up only at 11+ or 12, spending the whole day at the com, (which was true), so a job is what I found! But? Still he complains bout my waking habits and com usage just because I have only a few night shifts a week... What more do you want, old man??? Sheesh!! And mom isn't even complaining one bit!! BAH!
Moving along... (Where was I?.. Oh yea church...) After having "brunch" at the coffee shop with some of the other guys, we went to Em's place to get the soccer and basketball... Then we played some of both behind his place where there was an empty street soccer court, and right next to it was an empty basketball court... Whoohoo! Only problem was the idiotic SUN. It was as if global warming was in full force... Nah that was an overstatement wasn't?... Anyways it was HOT... Given the time I'd even use a thesaurus or something and state all the words that I can find relating to "hot", but, of course I'm not crazy (I'm just a lil unwell)... So we rested under the shade of the trees for some time before heading to church as Jare'el had choir, Em had to get some money, and I wanted to get some pictures of the church for the MSN groups web thingy... But sadly... The church ain't got much to take of... Pathetic huh... Oh well it's back to the drawing board again I guess... Nevermind that... We went to BK where Tim and some of the other youth had already finished lunch and were chatting away... Somehow Ron managed to piss me off there and he took off somewhere... Who cares... I couldn't be bothered with his bloody crappy attitude... Anyway soon after it was left with me and Tim, but one of his commando friends came along and chatted for sometime before Guo Quan also came along... Haven't seen him in quite a looooong while eh... Well my bro and Emrys came back from LJS and we went hunting for a mother's day gift... I couldn't find anything nice in particular and Tim suddenly suggested that I treat her dinner at where I worked... And I thought, hey! WHY NOT?? Absolutely a great idea... So after my bro and Em had got theirs, we went to look for boots at RSH downstairs... After some recommendations from Tim I decided to buy the adidas one and a pair of socks... The boots are quite cool... Pricey too but I guess it's worth it... With that done we went back to our own homes to get changed and stuff for soccer...
SOCCER!!!
I LOVE SOCCER!! Though I was a lil late after waiting 20mins for the damn bus to arrive, I reached the field just when they were about to start... got changed into boots and then joined them... At first, I thought my team was doomed as Hermann, Samuel, Tim and Kheng Soon were on the opposing team... But!! In the end my team still won... Uncle Gary was still as good as ever... Ezekiel too! And of course not forgetting the best keeper ever, Nelson!! Too bad he had to go off earlier... Oh well... Oh yea Daniel brought some friends along too... They were good too, I managed to score one with a nice pass/cross from one of them... All in all today's game was real fun, ending in a score of 11-8 or something... After some rest we went for dinner near Tim's place again with Kheng Soon and Jack... The 2nd time having dinner with them so I'm getting to know them better too... *SIGH* Maybe if I had placed YTSS as my 1st choice instead of OPSS, and joined BB, I'd have known them earlier and I wouldn't have missed that much fun... But then again, I wouldn't have got to know such great friends like Mico, Sakib, Andre etc etc etc... So... I guess it's God's plan that I had gone to OPSS and YCCL so that I could have the most of both worlds... That's cool...
back home..
*Sigh* My mum doesn't want to dine at Pasta Cafe because she finds it odd... She suggests Causeway Point on Wed for lunch... Perfect...
