    *[[ ]]*

Right, time to blog.. Before my STM sets in and I start spending half the time trying to remember stuff.. Especially when the chalet had quite a lot of happenings..
    Day 1 (Monday)
Met up with some old classmates at Madeline's place like Song Ming, Wan Sheng and Fuwen before we headed to the interchange to meet Chun Yan and JunJie.. Haven't seen most of them in 4-5 years and though some were still the same, some changed quite a lot.. Miss the old primary school days.. Sigh.. We took a bus to Pasir Ris where Dawn was waiting, then we took another bus to Downtown East Resort.. We found our room with an auntie's help, a friend of Madeline, but somehow I find her really familiar, perhaps my mum's friend?.. Oh and she knows my name too?.. Hmmm.. Our room wasn't what u would call 5-star, but it was good enough.. But with a group of bout 8 people, it's not big when there were only 2 beds and 2 mattresses.. But then no one really thought about sleep then.. After lazing around for awhile we started the fire for the bbq, or rather, we TRIED to start the fire but had lots of difficulty.. But after quite a LONG time the fire was ok and we started the bbq, a few of us watching HP1 while eating.. WeiSeng came just in time for the bbq, and with Jun Jie they took over Song Ming and me in tending the fire... Later that night Kah Hoe came too, along with his OTHER friends.. I only knew a few of them as some were from my school like Shahfiq who seemed to be the only one among that group that Song Ming, Wan Sheng and Fuwen liked.. Anyway as some of them found that group to be quite annoying we went to walk around, look for the arcade.. X-ZONE was there but the price of some games were bloody high.. Well, at least TimeZone doesn't charge 1.50 for Time Crisis 3.. But it was quite fun playing with Song Ming.. X-Square was next door and Song Ming was thinking of playing Raw2 on the X-box that they charge at 5.80 an hour, but the game was rented out.. Too bad.. But the twin pack for Dark Alliance 1 and Rainbow Six Ghost Recon Island Thunder caught my eye and I bought it. Went back to the room and passed by Wild Wild Wet on the way and thought of going there the next day.. Which we DID..
    Day 2 (Tuesday)
Was rudely woken up by 1 of KahHoe's friends.. But didn't matter, as all his friends had stayed up all night drinking and smoking, they went to sleep while we went out.. The 4 of us went to BK where Fuwen had his breakfast while we chatted bout lots of stuff.. Then we decided to go the Wild Wild Wet but was thinking of asking some others like ChunYan and Jun Jie along, but they too had stayed up all night so were too tired.. So we it was just the 4 of us.. But 4 was almost just nice, being an even number.. The theme park used a special card called a "funkey" for payment like admission fees and rental of floats.. For those above 12 yrs old, its $12.50 but for below 12 its bout $8+.. Considering that there were only a few rides there, its quite cheap?.. We spent bout 4 hours there playing the rides and also the water playground where there's this GIANT bucket of water that splashes without warning when full, and I was a victim LOL! Just standing there looking at Wan Sheng climb up when suddenly I was bombarded by water LOL.. Soo "zhun" eh?.. And I had no idea at all that I was under that bucket LOL.. Hmm.. But the playground was still fun.. Can spend an hour there spraying and dropping buckets of water on others... Wahahaha really funny man.. The most adrenaline-pumped ride must be the almost vertical drop.. It's a ride where 2 people are in a float which is pushed into a U-shaped structure, such that u'll drop and then slide up the other side, and then slide back down and up the other side until it comes to a stop.. I tell u, queueing up 10 mins for this 1 min ride is absolutely worth it.. I went at first with Song Ming, me in front him behind.. The view in front is really damn scary man.. Reminds me of Gold Coast's Dream World's Bermuda Triangle ride where the drop was also as terrifying.. Anyway other than that there were the 2 solo slides, one open air and the other totally pitch black.. Also there's a GIANT slide for a group to sit in a big raft like float.. Not much kick as there was only bout 2 sharp drops of a small height.. And then there's this sky bike ride thingy where u are riding a "bike" bout 3 storeys up... Great view from up there.. We could see all the rides... Ironically, this really safe ride had Fuwen cut his foot when he and Wan Sheng rode too fast LOL.. So after he got the wound treated we had a bite at the KFC which we had to pay by using the "funkey".. Later we went to the wave pool which had man-made waves generated at certain timings.. It just so happened that we got there to laze awhile and the waves just started all of a sudden.. The waves were really cool, but I think it was a lil too much for Fuwen's wound as the bandage came off.. So we went back the room where most of them had woken up.. The 4 of us got dried up and Fuwen got a plaster on for his wound.. After lying on the bed I practically fell asleep.. SOO tired.. Fuwen fell asleep too, but I think he was really sleeping not like me.. After some rest, Fuwen, Song Ming and I went back to the arcade area and the X-Square where Raw 2 was still unavailable.. So they tried out this game called Hunter: The Reckoning.. Not bad.. Better than what I thought it would be.. They played quite far into the game until they came to the boss where they died.. By then they' played more than an hour and it cost $8 I think.. Not bad I guess.. At least its better than LAN.. Though more ex.. We went for dinner at BK where Wan Sheng found us.. Sat there talking bout old school days and ex-classmates that didn't come and how they were doing.. But when we got back, we got locked out.. Seems the rest went to play pool.. So while Fuwen and Song Ming went to get the key Wan Sheng and I just sat outside, waiting and chatting.. But they didn't take long to get the keys.. We were soon back inside.. After watching some TV shows like smallville I somehow fell asleep..
    Day 3 (Wednesday)
Was one of the last to wake up.. Back ached from sun burns from the Wild Wild Wet.. Haha.. But after packing up it was already time.. Sigh time flies eh.. Oh well.. We took cabs back as most of us stayed near each other...
Later had drums class.. I was the only one there at 1st and Sherlene taught me some drum rolls.. I think I've got it.. Later "Ah Cheng" and Amanda Lai came too and soon "Nyapthai" came too.. (I'm not too sure about the spellings...) Time really flew and we all learnt a few variations by then.. After Tim came, those who were practising in the music room like Hermann and the both of us went for dinner at the coffee shop behind the church... After the dinner we headed to NorthPoint where we bought lots of snacks for the movie.. Harry Potter 3 was... Not bad.. It was quite obvious it was by a different director from the way its done, but it was not bad... But if u were to read the book before watching u'd probably be disappointed... Other than that the movie was good.. I love the way the marauder's map was done.. I've been anticipating this part of the movie for quite a long time, wondering how the map would look like... Way cool... Wish I had it.. Mischief managed!
    Today
I was hooked on Dark Alliance today with my bro.. The game was really absorbing... Work today was not too bad at 1st... There was this new girl who seemed to be quite a fast learner.. Only when I had to do bar closing then I really messed up.. Without Sharon's help today I was really on my own.. And I made quite a lot of mistakes... Sigh... I really suck at bar closing.. Maybe I'm not meant to be a waiter huh... Well, one thing's for sure.. I'm not gonna be some waiter all my life...
