Back from camp.. Prolly my most "sway" one ever but somehow it still worked out.. Why sway?.. Day 1, Daniel's mom didn't let him come, down to 8. Day 2, Joel went home early. (Which wasn't tat bad either but we're down to 7. Later tat day, went pulau ubin cycle and, being a.. 1week old noob at cycling, can't blame me for falling esp when i was really goin at a hell of a speed and down a rather steep slope.. The result? My palms had deep cuts, my elbow had lotsa not-so-deep-cuts and my stomach looked like it got scratched by a mad cat or smth.. OH ya. my left middle finger has 2 "punctures" as if a lil vamp with large teeth got me there.. and a few other minor scratches.. (but somehow manage to get back to the rest with some help from our photographer.. a drums pro if i rmb correctly.. he played once in service.. anws i rode back in a double bike with ron.. and they was a lot of difference... we went DAMN fast.. but dint fall even once.. haha.. owe him one..) Day 3 was almost the worst. I almost broke down. it was like i was cursed tat day with a "sux2bu" curse.. Totally. Shaun went for training early in the morn and we were down to 6, Ver got ill and we're down to 5. And suddenly Denise also disappeared home or smth and then there was 4. Of course Denise and Shaun came back but be4 tat "Jeremiah" our grp name was in some chaos.. royston had to "pull" others from other grps to ours for the treasure hunt thingy and I was feeling damn bad.. Like, just imagine kanna pull away to another grp unwillingly! it totally sux la.. until i was juz laying on the bed when it was supposed to be lunch.. i juz couldn't be bothered with anything at tat time la.. I was even thinking of pulling our grp out for the games thingy.. jearlene stayed behind with ver i think, leaving onli me, denise, grace and solomon, somehow they got daniel yeo, sherlene and sheryl to join us.. and the treasure hunt thingy turned out alright i guess, esp when shaun returned, with some bruises too from his own training.. haiz~ funny thing was i never expected to see a familiar face at changi, but i did! in the form of... HAO!! wahahaha so surprised to see him there.. he was at a chalet which was next to our destination... and missed it cos of the dumb clue.. crap.. bleah didn't matter.. worse part was when denise disappeared later and our grp was to wash 4 wrecked-dusty-termite-infested tables with onli me, solomon, grace and shaun for the steamboat tat nite.. soooo crappy.. like WHY US MAN!! when other grps have 9 ppl with simple duties like ARRANGE PACKET FOODS.. fvck it man.. but solomon was really hardworking then, washing the tables so meticulously.. haha very housewife-ly.. we managed to wash them all after some time and then the 4 of us had bout an hour or so to come out with a skit for tat nite.. can u imagine?? haha we managed to pull it off later i guess.. with some er.. self sacrifice from me and shaun, putting on the braids and wigs.. -shudder- i hope nv to have to do tat again man.. but it turned out alright.. juz a lot of "lag" in the middle of the scenes to change etc.. my "skirt" actually fell!! omg.. ahahaha but all for laughs and i guess it worked.. getting 3rd for a 5-6 man team is really something, considering tat the top 2 teams had bout 9 members or so.. quite proud of Jeremiah come to think of it.. =) kudos to u guys! even verena! though she couldn't do much, we could see she was realli putting quite a lot of effort as a faciliator..
well, after the 3rd nite i was certain i was to serve as both the usher lead for my grp, as well as play for the band.. dennis said earlier i was to join pam's grp where she'll be taking bass and i'm taking over her.. tat is like.. woah! i definitely gotta practise a lot more man.. esp after this camp experience.. i definitely did not play well those 2 days.. esp the 1st time.. my timing was wrecked and i lost it.. couldn't hear the others and ended up playing with no confidence.. 2nd day was better i guess.. thanks a lot to lydia and bryan and darius.. i found tat i could follow better on the 2nd day.. maybe the songs were easier.. hmmm..
i didn't take much photos there so i guess i'll photoblog the pics that the photographer took.. till then, later~
