*[[ stress stress STRESS! ARGGGGGGGG! ]]*

common test week is here (which explains the odd title) and i can say i mite not pass all.. but i'd better pass cell tech and human bio n disease, since one's the easiest module and the other, studied like crazy for it with help from one of WX's treasured textbooks lol.

ndp preview yesterday was a blast. THANK GOD it didn't rain during the show or else we might have to come back today (sunday) and of course, who would anw. but our work today was crazy lar. WX, joel and some other guys were stationed right at the front where the queue was looooong. joel n i had to count the tix and fold "dog-ears" for the next station to tear them, making sure the no. of ppl matched the no. of tix, while WX had to count every single person who entered and help out in the folding cos the queue was scary seriously.. and another thing we had to do was repeat and repeat to ppl that green and blue tix holders had to go thru the right while yellow tix holders go left.. annoying sia ppl dunno how 2 read the instructions at the back of the tix zzzz.. anw when we reached 1.5K we had to direct everyone else thru the left, except for a few special cases.. and this particular case where a girl of about pri3 had to pass her mom's performance uniform to her mom who was going in by the other entrance.. so i had to be this errand boy running back and forth.. but at least it was settled.. and the show went well i hope? dint watch it this time as it was slightly more crowded than previous days, AND, since we've watched the show bout 3 times already, so kinda boring liao la. so i played this sonic game on WX's ngage QD while she used my ipod.. and i seriously suck at sonic lol. wahahaha nvm that. oh it was the 2nd time in my life i was talking to 2 other chris/christophers (no diff rite)! hahaha both were PART-TIME policemen. yep. 1st time hear got part-time rite.. hahaha..

church was kinda dull today somehow. i was so drowsy this morn that i skipped youth service totally and went for breakfast at the coffeeshop waiting for them to finish. and wat's more, there wasn't DG as today was missions sunday.. so all of us had to go for adults service too. haha but could see that e sermon was repeated from the youth service from sherrie and ben etc.. but smth wrong bout today la.. so extra dull lol. anws i'm off need to slp to study tml last min wit e guys for cell tech.. wish me luck lol! l8r~

*[[ is it me or are the NDP fireworks getting BIGGER?! ]]*

yes seriously, the fireworks ARE getting bigger!! lolx! on the 2 NE shows they were moderately large enough but yesterday, they were HUGE!!! pity i dint take pics of those big ones.. aye WX bring ur digicam next week ah! whahahaha! well the final rehearsal went well except for the slight rain and that WX was sick. poor gal hahaha. our work was damn obsolete tho.. it was smth done so that we could DO smth.. so crappy. but next week we're gonna have to do the same thing again cos Adelphi is gonna be closed, meaning ppl WILL have to walk along coleman st where we're positioned.. and this time our "headquarters" was in the Supreme court where we had dinner and briefings.. oh yeah. their toilet SUCKS. so freaking dirty and smelly lol. "Supreme" indeed eh.. anw we were released earlier as there wasn't any P5s to handle.. oh. i actually overslpt in the train. thanks to melvin who woke me up at sembawang where he got off. or else i'd end up in jurong east. whew. wad to do. tired la..

Like what clement, dom and camillus (and more) have blogged, TEAM FEFE ROCKS!! WE OWNED!! yeah we got 3rd but hell, for a team that had only 1 day of training for the captain's ball tourny, we realli OWNED!! well it was a great fun time where our MB batch actually became more united with the cheering each other on, especially within our class! i can definitely feel the class spirit burning up! (in a good way!) and yeah.. we lost to mb0403 by a single sudden death point but it was a tight game, very very tight, drawing at full time and after extra time. previously we also drew a "basketballers" team at full time but we gave them an extra time thrashing! to me, that was the most memorable win! but the "champs" were the CPTs, nothing to boast but unfriendly and rough guys AND gals (or bimbos) who were totally out to win, and they also kicked su's netball into some army camp where dom, yam meng and rayson had to go all the way in to retrieve it. how much more detestable can they get?.. bahh. to me, winning 3rd is as good as 1st! a big "THANK YOU" to all other classes who cheered us on and gave moral support!

common test is in a week. i'm sooo busted.

*[[ ndp ne show day 2 - nicer fireworks! ]]*

woooh~! dint know ushering can be tat damn tiring! but it was worth it i guess! extra nice fireworks and some extra stuff added from last week.. well the work was no exception either la. from last week's grp of 30 in our left sector, we were suddenly down to 16 this week, me being e only guy! e grp IC was also quite surprised. wth. all pang sehh! but it was alright. Wenxin and I were grped with another 2 gals Jieying and Sihui under Joel, but both of us were positioned at the very front where a lot of stuff happened, like having to make sure the tix tallied the no. of ppl INCLUDING e baby/toddler. but most the time we had no choice but to let them in if they didn't have a tix for e baby, though it was clearly stated on e tix itself.. anw we did stuff like finding extra tix from ppl and passing them to those who were short of tix and it was quite appreciated la.. but the weather was a bit annoying.. luckily it drizzled a little onli, and both of us had free umbrellas courtesy of Joel wahahaha.. dinner was a bit lousy tho.. 2 pieces of cold and old KFC chicken. not much different from last week la. but anw we caught some of e parts we missed last week and Wenxin brought her digicam, so e pics she took were nicer la. gonna kop them later wahahaha~!
Happy Bday Sherrie and Shaun!! haha their lil party at their house was nice and got to play a bit of pool at his house! so cool having own pool table but.. no space.. lol even his house already quite big but had to use e short cues.. but still fun la! and upstairs e rest were watching mtv in shaun's room, making a heck lotta noise lol! by the time i reached home i was bloody exhausted already, cos i slpt for bout 4-5 hrs only and the ndp thing was so tiring. i actually dozed off while watching naruto last nite and again after reaching home lol! realli need to rest liao la. might update e pics soon if i feel like it :P

P.S. aye wenxin i seriously got nth to do with e joel/policeman thingy k?! really! lol~

*[[ of pretty lights and fireworks in the night ]]*

NE show 1 was quite an unforgetable experience i guess. afterall e last time i was at a ndp preview was when i was p5 myself. pathetic huh? lol. the work i was assigned to was quite tiring. thankfully i wasn't alone. my "nursing" partner was fun to talk with. and quite surprisingly she's now in a church i was in be4 i left in p5/6 for yccl. seems it was a good thing i left from the way she was describing e situation heh. reminds me a lil of the sermon uncle sebastian gave earlier.. ok save that for later. erm dunno if the spelling is right but her name was either wan/wen xin or smth like that.. anws got another 4 more weeks of ushering to do so still got chance to confirm it lolx. the p5s were all so enthu! haha even tho our position was kinda far from the padang itself but their screams were damn loud.. and we could only watch the later performances after the dinner break.. including of course, the fireworks. and somehow our batch was unlucky and we had to like form a line to prevent ppl from crossing over etc.. and wierd stuff dropped from dunno where there.. first a skinny cockroach appeared on wenxin's shoulder! and after that some army guy had a lil greenish worm on his hand. weird place that road. took the train back with dee after but fell aslp on e train most e time lol. sho tired.
service this morn was okay. was late for prac lolx. we dint play as many songs tho as e sermon dragged a lil longer.. so e worship was kinda cut short.. but nobody really minded.. sheryl's dad seldom preached but when he did, it was always good. oh yeah he was saying how pastors are actually dropping out at a rate of 4 in a 1000 per year. encouragement is that much impt i guess. those pastors must have been discouraged so much that e devil used it as an opportunity to bring them lower till they lost all faith. haiz. but attendance today was like strangely low. all sick or wad lol.
yay. no LCY tml!! dun need to see a freak face on a monday morn. whew*
