if there's one song that will turn my frown upside down, its definitely goldfinger's "superman"!! i've been searching for it with no idea wad e title was and who sang it, until i came across "99 red balloons" in clement's creative player. and from there i went to search under limewire and sure enough, the song appeared! haha.
october fest was great! the food was damn shiok, unfortunately we dint have time to eat more.. sigh. the dancing part was ok too i guess. my partner was real sporting and kinda cute too, too bad she's malay haha. thank God we didn't screw up. but the cameras there were freaking us out la sooooo many!! those germans etc were real nice ppl and showed their appreciation too.. and they drank, a lot!! even tho it was in the early afternoon? lol. too bad no chance to try e german beer =(
so far the holidays have been dryyy. esp this week.. if not for band pracs and the arts club rehearsal tml, i'd die of boredom for suree! work has been most tiring and it's gonna be worse on fri; 12-10 shift. omg. i juz had a 10-6 shift earlier and it was tiring enough la. i'd rather work 12-10 today than on friday lorz hehe. too bad. anw news i just heard from andrew was that pasta cafe is closing in dec instead. not 100% confirmed tho. but it's better la. more time to find another mind-blowing job, like tutoring? i tried it for one night at the leaders' meet last week at dennis' place trying to mark some english compos by pri6 under sherrie.. and boy i tell u i spent half the time ROFLMAO alrite. the things kids write nowadays.. realli hilarious. one couldn't spell dismantle and wrote dis-mental. one CHANGED the title to fit his story. one GIRL wrote about "buying a tin of milk as my mom was not having enough nutrients for fresh human milk or cows' milk". we were still laughing at it in the morning!! gawd.. but e pay is supposedly quite good i heard so maybe i'll give it a try.
anws i'm off to slp arts club rehearsal tml morn and band prac and choir at nite. woooh i'm beat. i'll prolly watch star wars episode 6 in the library since i watched 4 and 5 the last 2 weeks. hahaha. yes i know i'm lame.
